Training & Consultation

I am passionate about planning and disseminating training programs and projects to decrease the overall burden of disease and promoting mental wellness in developing nations, and assist local agencies to apply for grants from funding organizations.

For example, I have received funds from the Government of Australia (AusAID grants) to conduct the following training programs:

Reduce infant mortality – “Building Bridges: A program to reduce infant mortality in Myanmar”. (AusAID: $13,247).
Improving Maternal Health – “Making a difference: A pilot leadership development program to promote maternal and child health in Myanmar”. (AusAID: $238,740).
Reducing HIV – “Mapping for change: From government to grassroots to reduce the spread of HIV”. (AusAID: $416,311).

In addition, I am skilled in providing training and consultation for International and Australian organisations in:

Preparation of grants to seek funding.
Design, implement, evaluate, and report clinical services (Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Inpatient, Outpatient, Group Programs, Day Programs).
Services Evaluation and Clinical Auditing.
Providing interdisciplinary training programs.
Planning and preparing tender applications (e.g. Mental Health, Substance Misuse).
Disseminating information to the professional community and the public.
Promoting community involvement.
Promoting consumer participation.
I am also a principal consultant to Brain and Mind Training (BMT) and Asia Bright Minds Training and Consultancy (ABMTC).
